The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Porsha Williams, married Nigerian-born businessman Simon Guobadia in November 2022.
After a little over the year, Porsha’s wedding to Simon is coming to an end as per the reports by PEOPLE, citing obtained court documents. The 42-year-old reality TV star has filed for divorce from 59-year-old businessman on Thursday.
The former couple announced their engagement in May 2021, and a little over a year later, they got married following Nigerian traditional native law and custom ceremony. They also had an American ceremony in Atlanta.
Porsha and Simon’s relationship had a bit of a whirlwind romance. The former RHOA alum revealed their romance to her co-star, Falynn Pina’s, ex the same day he revealed that he had already popped the question with just one month into dating.
Earlier, Porsha had stressed that her romance with Simon is not at all related to his divorce with Falynn. Despite of the show introducing Falynn as her friend, she claimed that they are not friends.
