Pooja Bhatt appeared in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 lately. There were speculations circulating on the internet a few years back that Alia Bhatt was her daughter. However, the two are half-sisters because they are both Mahesh Bhatt’s offspring.
Pooja has now replied to the ‘absurd’ claims, saying in a recent discussion with Siddharth Kannan, she said, “Yeh toh humare desh mein bahut purani cheez hai (This is not new in our country). Start talking about somebody’s relationship with their daughter or with their bhabhi or with their sister or with their whatever. Now, how do you counteract that? Ke aap iss cheez ko dignity bhi de sakte hai respond kar ke?”
Pooja further claimed that after she left the Bigg Boss OTT house, Alia called her and said that she felt the closest to her during Bigg Boss because the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress has not missed a single episode. “She (Alia) used to watch the show 24/7,” Pooja revealed.
Meanwhile, Alia appeared onscreen for the first time with her sister Pooja Bhatt in Sadak 2, directed by their father Mahesh Bhatt and starring Aditya Roy Kapur.
