In shocking turn of events, comedian Kapil Sharma, choreographer Remo D’Souza, singer Sugandha Mishra, and actor Rajpal Yadav have reportedly received death threats, leaving their fans concerned.

The threats were allegedly sent via emails, and are suspected to be originated from Pakistan. Mumbai police have taken swift action into registering a FIR and have initiated an investigation.

The FIR has been registered at Amboli police station in Mumbai against an unidentified individual under section 351(3) of the Bombay Police Act (BNS).

The reports have suggested that Kapil Sharma and his family is expected to receive police protection, amidst rising concerns regarding their safety.

Meanwhile, Remo has also alerted the authorities about the similar email, while a non-cognizable offence has been registered in response to Sugandha’s complaint.

The disturbing chain of events began on December 14, when Kapil received death threat via an email, signed of under the alias ‘BISHNU’. The sender had demanded a response withing eight hours, warning of severe consequences, if ignored.
