Payal Rohatgi calls Alia Bhatt ‘Dumb’, claims, ‘filmmakers like slave mentality and bimbo actresses’

Former Bigg Boss contestant and actress Payal Rohatgi takes a dig at Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt over her educational qualifications. Payal was already in the headlines after the suspension of her Twitter account. Soon after her Twitter account was suspended, #BringBackPayal started trending on the microblogging social site. She is known for her vocal nature and had earlier slammed the big-guns of Bollywood after the death of talented actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

Now, once again, Payal made the headlines after her interview with Navbharat Times, in which the interviewer introduced Payal by mentioning her educational qualifications, beauty pageant winner and more. This type of introduction struck a chord and Payal immediately disclosed how this is touching the topic in Bollywood, because of the fact that the many actresses have barely completed their high school, but continue to get more attention in public.

When asked upon who she was referring to, by the interviewer, Payal clearly took Alia Bhatt’s name, with the mention of the incident on the chat show, Koffee with Karan, where the actress incorrectly answered a question relating to the President of India.

Again while on the topic of filmmakers and how they prefer to have someone who won’t question much and go with the flow, Payal again took a dig at Alia and called her dumb. Navbharat Times posted a video interview with Payal in which she is saying, “The filmmakers like the slave mentality and bimbo actresses. That is the reason actresses choose to be dumb, in the present they are actually dumb like Alia Bhatt in the scenario (talk show Coffee with Karan).”

Payal further crowned social media as the much-needed change in the industry, as according to Payal people are opening up on the social media platforms which is the need of the hour.
