Payal Ghosh is slated to star in the upcoming film ‘With The Fire Of Love: Red’ alongside Krushna Abhishek, and the actress announced the news on social media. However, she included a remark about “sleeping for films” with it, which left netizens perplexed and shocked.
Payal has previously accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexually harassing her and claiming that he had once tried to force himself on her.
Payal said in her post that she could have done 30 films if she had agreed to sleep with someone, but she later deleted the post.
Payal recently resorted to Instagram to tell her followers that ‘With The Fire Of Love: Red’ would be her 11th film.
“With the Fire Of Love: Red, I will be completing my 11th movie. Agar main soti toh aaj main 30th film complete kar leti,” her post read.
She captioned the photo, “You need to sleep to get big movies. Bina soye possible hi nahi hai”.
Her followers filled the comments section as soon as she uploaded the post, questioning if it was meant at anyone in particular. However, the actress erased the post after a few hours for reasons unknown to her.
Payal filed a formal complaint against Anurag Kashyap in September 2020, alleging that he had allegedly forced himself on her.
Kashyap was summoned by Versova police in October and probed in the alleged sexual assault case.
Not only that, but Payal had also filed a complaint against Kashyap with the Narcotics Control Bureau, urging them to investigate a drug-related issue involving the filmmaker.
She also sent a letter to then-Indian President Ramnath Kovind, requesting his help in the case of her sexual harassment accusation.
