Pankaj Tripathi, who will be soon seen in upcoming season 3 of Mirzapur on Amazon Prime Video, has responded to Panchayat actor Pankaj Jha’s allegations of him romanticizing his struggles. Tripathi addressed the ongoing debate and said that he has never claimed so and has been living a simple life.
In a recent chat with India Today, Tripathi said that he never intended to romanticize his hardships or to inspire others. He added that he expressed his dislike for the term struggle and had mentioned taking Manoj Bajpayee’s slippers as an example of how stars tend to glamorize their difficulties.
The actor also reminded that he had mentioned how his wife was earning when he was looking for work. However, he denied the claims that he had a towel tied around his waist. He also added that he never slept outside Andheri station. Tripathi mentioned that he had a good and happy life when he moved to Mumbai.
