Palak Sidhwani aka Sonu Bhide from popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has made some serious allegations against the producers of the show. She recently announced her exit from the show citing harassment and mental trauma caused by producers.
This led to a legal tussle with Neela Film Productions. Matters took a turn for the worse when rumors started doing the rounds about producers planning to issue a legal notice to her for supposedly working on other projects without their permission.
Simultaneously, Palak trashed those reports and alleged that the producers had been treating her shabbily and not even remitting her advance money of Rs. 21 lakh.
While speaking to ETimes, she said, “They never discussed any exclusivity contract with me, but as soon as I expressed my desire to leave the show in August, the exploitation began. They probably thought that I wouldn’t wait till May to leave, so they started treating me unfairly. The extortion even reached a peak when they accused of breaching the contract.”
She added that she was hurt on the inside, which affected her mental health. The actress also claimed to cry on her makeup rooms before shooting.
