The country was stunned by the death of renowned actress Sridevi on February 24, 2018. Sridevi passed away while attending Mohit Marwah’s wedding in Dubai with Boney Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, and other members of the Kapoor family. The ‘final image’ that Sridevi posed for during his nephew’s wedding was posted by Boney Kapoor a day before the fifth death anniversary of her passing in honour of his wife.
Director Boney Kapoor shared the last photo he had taken with his late wife, actress Sridevi, earlier this week on Instagram. The renowned actress passed away in February 2018 in Dubai when she was attending a family wedding after drowning in her bathtub.
Boney Kapoor merely wrote, ““Last picture…” as the caption while sharing the image. Khushi Kapoor is seen wearing a pastel peach lehenga in the vintage photo, while Sridevi looks stunning in a green and gold traditional attire.
He also shared another portrait of her on his Instagram story and wrote, “Jo chala gaya mujhe chodkar Wohi aajtak mere saath hai (the one who left me, is still with me to this day).”
Boney was not the only one to share a meaningful tribute for the veteran actor; his older daughter Janhvi Kapoor did as well. In a picture she shared with Sridevi, Janhvi wrote, “I still look for you everywhere mumma, still do everything I do hoping I’m making you proud. Everywhere I go, and everything I do- it starts and ends with you.”
