Kalki Koechlin, who recently embraced motherhood, revealed that her daughter Sappho, whom she welcomed with her partner Guy Hershberg, has now grown fond of pets as she completes one and half years. The actress revealed this interest in pets was initiated after going through Alia Bhatt’s children’s book which was titled Ed Finds a Home.
On Wednesday, Kalki took to her Instagram Stories and shared a page from the book. The page has a little girl introducing a lost dog to her father. Along with this picture, Kalki playfully blamed Alia for causing trouble at home. While sharing the picture, Kalki added, “Uh oh you got us in trouble @aliabhatt… Now sappho wants Ed in our home.” Alia Bhatt reacted to the post with a string of laughing emojis. Alia had turned author in June when she launched her book ‘Ed Finds A Home.’

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia will be next seen in Jigra, which also features Vedang Raina from The Archies. She also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, wherein she will share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The shooting for the latter project has not yet started.
