During the Ambani family’s grand three-day celebration, Radhika Merchant, the bride-to-be, gave a touching speech about the importance of marriage.

On the first day of the pre-wedding celebration, amid the glitz and glamour of the cocktail party, Radhika enthralled the audience by speaking about the importance of choosing a life companion.

However, observant netizens quickly noticed that Radhika’s words had a striking resemblance to a dialogue from the 2004 film ‘Shall We Dance?’ starring Susan Sarandon and Richard Jenkins. In the film, Sarandon’s character delivers a devastating monologue titled ‘Witness to Your Life,’ which expresses similar ideas on friendship and the meaning of marriage.
The finding caused a frenzy of discussion on social media, with many challenging Radhika’s speech’s authenticity. While some supported her, claiming that the similarities were purely coincidental, others were disappointed by her apparent lack of genuineness.
One user wrote, “Omg that’s so embarrassing,” while another wrote, “Even ChatGPT would have done a better job at writing.” Another user added, “Dang!!!!! Now I remember why it sounded so familiar!!!” Fourth user said, ” thora paisa speech pe bhi kharch ker letey.”
Defending Radhika, one user wrote, “That’s not embarrassing, she choose to say it. You really think she can’t afford an editor…!”
Another user defended it by saying, “Sometimes we use lines from our favourite songs movies series poems novels etc to express our feelings fully, it’s very normal and beautiful at the same time.”
