Earlier, there were news making rounds on the Internet that Ranveer Singh has requested NCB to allow him to sit with Deepika Padukone. Now, according to NCB sources, there were no such requests. The actress is supposed to appear in front of NCB officials on 26th September.
According to TOI, NCB sources stated “There are questions that whether Ranveer Singh is joining investigation with Deepika. We confirm that we have not received any such request from any summoned person. The last email received from the concerned summoned person is only regarding joining the investigation.”
After Sushant Singh Rajput’s manager Jaya Saha was interrogated, her WhatsApp chats revealed the names of Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash. In the chats, the actress is seen asking for drugs. The Padmavaat actress who was busy shooting in Goa for her upcoming movie with Siddhant Chaturvedi flew back to Mumbai on 24th September and requested to change the dates for interrogation.
On the other hand, Rakul Preet Singh and Karishma Prakash are being interrogated at NCB office. Sara Ali Khan will present in front of NCB officials on 26th September.
