NCB denies rumours of ‘clean chit’ to Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor

The Narcotics Control Bureau has denied any news article which states the agency giving clean chits to Deepika, Sara and Shraddha.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has interrogated Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh as well as Deepika’s KWAN talent manager, Karishma Prakash, and Sushant Singh Rajput’s former talent manager, Jaya Saha, as they were alleged to be a part of the drug cartel of Bollywood industry. The celebrities as well as the managers have been interrogated by NCB for long hours and have also seized their phones for forensic examinations in order to find the remaining people involved in the alleged drug nexus.

There were rumours making rounds that the accused actresses will be given ‘clean chit’ by the agency. However, on Wednesday (30th September), NCB officials have disapproved any such claims about giving clean chit to Deepika, Sara, Shraddha and others who were interrogated in relation to the drug network hiding amongst the shadows of the celebrities, which surrounds the case of Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death.
