Speaking of portraying Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray in his biopic, the actor acknowledged receiving some backlash from the Muslim community.
The actor also applauded the Bollywood’s inclusive environment, and cited Anupam Kher’s deep respect for Naseeruddin Shah’s acting skills and his dedication as an example of mutual admiration across religious boundaries.
