Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda opened up on facing trolling after she got admission in one of the most prestigious IIM Ahmedabad. While speaking at India Today Mumbai Conclave 2024, she expressed both gratitude for the opportunities and acknowledged the challenges provided by social media.
Addressing the criticism, she acknowledged her privileged background and said, “I accept that I come from a very different lived reality. People will have something to say about that.” However, she asserted that her focus has been on her personal and professional goals, adding that he responsibility is to work and self- improvement.
Navya also spoke about the importance of social media in bringing a change to the society. “I think it’s a great place for me as an individual to put my work out there. It’s been a great tool that, if used in the right way, has a lot of potential to bring about a change.”
