Sushant Singh Rajput, who always seemed jovial and friendly, suddenly took such a drastic step to end his life, and that has raised questions in the mind of people who adored him. Also, some are writing eulogies in his memory and sharing screen grabs of the last conversation with the actor but others are slamming Bollywood for not recognizing his talent and providing opportunity to this brilliant person. Maharashtra Home Affair Minister, Anil Deshmukh has assured that Mumbai Police is going to look in ‘professional rivalry’ as a prominent angle of this suicide case.
In this row, Shekhar Kapur has revealed a lot of information about Sushant lately. He was about to direct Sushant in the movie ‘Paani’ which was never made later. The film was supposed to be produced under the Yash Raj Films banner.
In an Instagram Live interaction with Manoj Bajpayee, Shekhar revealed that Sushant was extremely excited about the project and would attend all the meetings but unfortunately producers didn’t want to work with him and backed off at the last moment.
Shekhar further stated in his live session, “Paani, producers ne kaha, ‘Hum nahi banayenge Sushant ke saath. Paani nahi banegi.’ Kuch aur film koshish karke bana leta, woh nahi kiya. Main bahar chale gaya Hindustan se. Gussa, naraaz ho gaya.”
Shekhar also mentioned that after the producers backed off from the project, Sushant cried a lot. He was disappointed and heart-broken after receiving this news.
And now, a source in Mumbai police has told Mirror Now that Shekhar’s statement will be recorded in the light of a tweet where he mentioned that a lot of Bollywood’s famous personalities have side-lined the actor and didn’t give him the desired opportunities.
I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. I wish Iwas around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours. #SushantSinghRajput

Naming few people has no value. They themselves are products and victims of a ‘system’ everyone is protesting against.
If you really care, if you’re really angry, then bring down the system. Not the individual. That’s guerilla warfare. Not a spurt of anger. #SushantSinghRajput— Shekhar Kapur (@shekharkapur) June 16, 2020
More recently, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has urged the judicial system to look after this matter and to take actions against those producers who have instigated the feeling of suicide in Sushant’s brilliant mind.
