Kangana Ranaut’s bodyguard, who had fled away after a case of rape and cheating was registered against him; has finally been arrested.
According to reports, the accused bodyguard had fled away to Karnataka. Kumar Hegde, the accused, was even arrested from Karnataka itself. As per the reports, Kumar Hegde and his mother had gone to distribute wedding cards, when the police had reached their home. As a result, the Mumbai Police team of DN Nagar Police had to take the help of the local police station to contact his mother. The mother of Kumar Hegde and he himself reached the police station, where the victim was asked to identify them. Moreover, the accused was soon arrested and a case of sections 376, 377, and 420, under the Indian Penal Law, was then registered against him.
The accusation on Kumar Hegde is that he raped the woman on the pretext of marriage. A case was filed against the accused bodyguard on Wednesday night in Mumbai’s DN Nagar police station after a complaint by a beautician. In a statement, the beautician had revealed that both of them had known each other for 8 years and then after he proposed to her. When she had accepted the proposal, both were residing in the same flat. However, in the recent past, he took 50 thousand rupees from the woman in the name of a family emergency but had fled away to Karnataka.
