Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn’s car was stopped on his way to Mumbai Film City. The person who stopped Ajay’s car has been identified as Rajdeep Singh. He managed to hold the actor’s car on the road for more than 20 mins. Later, local police arrested Rajdeep and took him to Dindoshi police station.
The arrested protester made a live streaming video while protesting in front of Ajay’s car. He said, “This guy (Ajay Devgn) is against Punjab. Punjab has given him food. How is he able to digest his food? How can you be against Punjab? You should be ashamed. You have been wearing turbans in movies with so much pride? Why aren’t you ashamed? Are you going to run me over? Why can’t he come out of the car and talk?.”
The actor was seen sitting hands folded in his car. Few minutes after this incident all his bodyguards arrived near Ajay’s car. As seen in the video the bodyguards did not touch or harm the protestor, they were just seen defending Ajay.
Furthermore, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, President, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management committee tweeted in favour of this incident. He wrote, “This is sheer injustice by @DGPMaharashtra. The person in the video, Rajdeep Singh Dhaliwal, has only expressed his displeasure against @ajaydevgn’s stand against Farmers. Is that an offence? A crime? How could Police even file a case against him U/S 341, 504,506 IPC (FIR No 119).”
