Mukesh Khanna has lately been in the news for his comeback as Shaktimaan as he was seen in its superhero costume. The actor played, what is described as India’s first superhero, from 1997 to 2005, and now that a movie is announced, he is not ready for a new actor to take over the role. As per the reports, Ranveer Singh was keen onto playing the role of Shaktimaan.
Recently, in an interview, where Mukesh was seen in his Shaktimaan costume, he took a dig at Akshay Kumar for his portrayal of Prithiviraj.
He stated, “Prithviraj Chauhaan kyun nahi lage Akshay Kumar? Sirf muchein aur wig lagaake thodi na ban sakte hai? Ek gaiy chahiye.” Upon being asked who he want to play the role of Shaktimaan, the actor arrogantly replied, “Chaliye aapko banaa deta hu.”
