Sonu Sood has once again reached out to people with a helping hand during these tough times. During the lockdown last year, the actor had helped migrant workers stuck in various parts of India to reach their homes. This time, Sonu Sood has decided to provide meal kits to people.
He will be providing food for the needy people in Neemuch, MP. The actor made this decision during the reality show Dance Deewane, where he is a judge. The show had a contestant from Neemuch and Sonu Sood was deeply moved by his story and how he was trying to make the ends meet.
This is when the actor said that he will be providing them with the required ration until the lockdown has been lifted. “I have seen people suffer without food. During the lockdown, the daily wage workers are the ones who suffer immensely,” Sonu said when contacted by BT.
He also added that his whole team is now planning and strategising on how to make this decision work. They are planning to include oil, milk, dal, rice, masalas etc. in the meal kits.
