Mouni Roy spends 9 days in hospital says, ‘Recovering slowly but very well’  

Mouni didn’t reveal the reason behind the same but thanked those who took care of her.

Mouni Roy, an actress best known for her roles in the films and television programmes Run, K.G.F. Chapter 1, Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kasturi, and Naagin, among others, recently disclosed that she spent nine days in the hospital. Mouni thanked individuals who cared for her while posting a series of photos with her spouse Suraj Nambiar on Instagram. She did not disclose the cause of the same.

Mouni wrote, “9 days in a hospital & I’m overwhelmed by a stillness deeper than anything I have ever known. Happy to report I’m back home and recovering slowly but very well. A happy healthy life over err’ything. A big thank you to my loveliest friends who spent their precious time taking care of me, sent me wishes & love. ILY guys x P.s @nambiar13 There’s No one like you.. I’m forever grateful.”

In January 2022, Mouni and Suraj were united in marriage in Goa. The couple underwent two ceremonies, one each for South Indian and Bengali customs.

Mouni Roy debuted on the red carpet in May at the Cannes Film Festival. She wore a strapless plunge-neck gown with ivory feather accents as she walked the red carpet. Additionally, Mouni posted pictures for her social media fans to see. She also thanked her crew in the caption for helping her have a successful Cannes debut.

She chose a choker necklace with a light sheen to finish her appearance. She finished off her red carpet look with deeper brows, a glossy nude pink lip colour, thick eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, mascara on the lashes, and shimmering highlighter.

The sci-fi action movie “Brahmastra: Part 1,” which also starred Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the key roles, was praised highly for Mouni’s performance in it. She will soon be featured with stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, and Palak Tiwari in the upcoming sci-fi horror comedy movie “The Virgin Tree.” The movie, directed by Sidhaant Sachdev, has yet to have an official release date.
