It was in December 2019, when our beloved Jassi aka Mona Singh, secretly tied the knot with husband Shyam Rajgopalan in an intimate wedding. In the presence of close friends and family members, Mona Singh happily proceeded towards a new journey and only after a few weeks revealed about her union with Shyam by dropping beautiful wedding pictures on her social media.
In a recent interview with BollywoodLife, when Mona Singh was questioned about her low-key engagement and secretive ceremony, she revealed the reason by stating, “I was never someone who liked to talk about my personal life in public. I would never do something like reveal dates in the media or discuss how I was planning my wedding.”
Further in the interview, Mona unveils how she enjoyed her wedding with friends and especially the Sangeet ceremony and though her parents were aware about her affair with Shyam, everything went smoothly for her. She said to the same portal, “My family and friends knew I was dating Shyam. They were happy about it. I had lots of fun at my sangeet. My friends and family members were with me. That is all that mattered.”
For many celebrities, quarantine is proving to be productive and Mona Singh is also enjoying her duration in this lockdown period and she stated that it’s more of a honeymoon period for her hubby Shyam and she is enjoying her time to the fullest.
Currently, Mona is seen in Ekta kapoor’s web series, ‘Kehne Ko Hum Safar Hai’ and gearing up for Aamir Khan’s next and most awaited movie Laal Singh Chaddha.
