Mona Singh, who featured alongside Aamir Khan in Laal Singh Chadha, described him as extremely “intelligent” and praised his professionalism. She feels fortunate of working with the star in two movies – another movie being 3 Idiots.
During her interview with Siddharth Kannan, the actress opened up about the box office failure of Laal Singh Chadha. The movie, which was a remake of Forrest Gump, did not receive expected footfalls in the theatre, however, it was praised post its release on Netflix.
Talking about the movie not performing well, Mona admitted, “Of course, it hurt.” She also revealed that despite its failure at the box office, Aamir hosted a party to celebrate the team’s hard work. “He invited everyone from the crew to the actors. He took the responsibility for the film’s failure, and that’s why I have immense love for him,” she noted.
The movie also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead role. Mona had been the recipient for playing the role of Aamir’s mother, which was again defended by Aamir in an interview with Pinkvilla.
