Neha Sargam, who played the role of Saloni Bhabhi in the second and third season, recently revealed how the actress’s parents took her role in the Mirzapur series.

During her appearance on the podcast Digital Commentary, Neha shared that during the time the actress was supposed to sign Mirzapur-season 2, she had watched the first season. The actress remembered how she told her mom and dad about her role in the series.

The actress recalled that the makers – co-director Gurmmeet Singh and the co-creator Puneet Krishna – had told her that her graph would be “better” in the third season, when they had met before signing season two. “Maine bola ‘sir ek request hai, mere mummy papa ne bola hai ‘beta swachch kaam karna’. And they laughed,” she added.

She further added that she decided to perform “swachch kaam” in the second season after they convinced her to play a clean role in season 2. Further, the actress also added that the makers played “smartly” as they didn’t discuss with her what all happens in the third season.

The actress recalled that she went into a sort of “coma”-like situation after she was told that she had intimate scenes to play. Neha remembered how she was skeptical about the role and if the makers were even listening to themselves.

Neha was paired opposite Vijay Varma in season two and three of Mirzapur. Vijay played dual roles of twin brothers Bharat Tyagi and Shatrughan Tyagi in the show. Neha was paired as Bharat’s wife in the series.
