Michael Jackson’s son Bigi ‘Blanker’ Jackson is suing the music legend’s mom, Katherine.
As per the reports by USA Today, citing court documents, Bigi, whose real name is Prince Michael Jackson III, argued that her grandmother should not be using the funds from his father’s real estate to finance her legal battle against the executors.
Bigi Jackson’s attorney said the request made by Katherine Jackson for legal service do not provide any benefit to the real estate property, hence a judge should not approve her requests.
Bigi’s filing was a response to Katherine’s ongoing opposition to the $600 million deal with Sony Music for half of the late pop star’s recorded music catalog and publishing by executors of the estate, Billboard and People reported.
Earlier, in December, the court had sided with the executors and ordered that the deal could continue, however, Katherine has chose to appeal the decision anyway.
