Meghan Markle has opened up about a special tradition she and Prince Harry follow to maintain their connection amid their busy schedules. In a recent interview with People, the Duchess of Sussex revealed that the couple ends each day with a “nightcap recap,” where they reflect on their day over a drink.
This daily ritual takes place while they prepare lunch boxes for their children, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3. Meghan, 43, acknowledged that many parents with young children can relate to the repetitive nature of daily routines.
After finishing their evening tasks, the Duke and Duchess unwind by watching their favorite shows. “We love Shrinking; we just finished Black Doves, and we’re excited for the new season of The White Lotus,” Meghan shared.
Her insights come as her Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, has been renewed for a second season. The show, which highlights her passion for cooking, hosting, and crafting, aligns with her latest business venture, As Ever. Scheduled to launch in spring 2025, the brand will offer products like honey, tea, and raspberry spread.
Reflecting on this new chapter, Meghan compared As Ever to The Tig, the lifestyle blog she managed when she first met Harry in 2016. “Harry loves seeing me immersed in this creative process—it’s like reliving the early days of our relationship,” she said.
She emphasized their strong bond, adding, “We’ve always been a close team, and sharing these moments together makes it all the more special.”
