If we talk about single mothers, then she deserves the first spot. Back when being a single mother was a taboo, she fought and adopted her girls. She adopted the first kid in 2000 and the second one in 2010. We have seen her tearing up in a couple of events while reading her daughter’s essay on adoption or at her daughter’s farewell party while she gave a speech.
Karishma Kapoor had a very overly hyped divorce with Sanjay. They had two kids together and they stayed with Karishma. She single-handedly raised them and we have often spotted her in their school activities and a couple of holidays too. They also attend events with her.
