Manisha Koirala has been long known for keeping her personal life under the wraps. However, during a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the veteran actress let her guard down as she made a subtle comment about her personal life. When questioned about the companion in her life, Manish replied with a question of her own, wondering how people could assume she does not have one.
The Heermandi: The Diamond Bazaar actress was asked, during an interview with Pinkvilla, if she misses having a partner in her life, following which she dropped a hint about her love life.
“Who said I don’t have one? Yes and no, because I have made peace with who I am and the life that I have. If a companion has to walk into my life, I don’t want to compromise and let go of the quality of life that I have. If the companion can add to it and walk alongside, I am more than happy. But I don’t want to change what I have right now,” she stated.
The actress further explained that if a companion is to happen, it will happen in a tandem, rather than her making efforts for it.
Manish was married to Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal in 2010. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2012, the same year when the actress was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Since then, she has kept her personal life private.
