Days after the Manish Raisinghan and Sangeita Chauhaan wedding, the actor has opened up about why did he get married amidst the pandemic, he has shared it all
Two days after the wedding of Manish Raisinghan and Sangeita Chauhaan, the actor reveals why he planned to tie the knot in this pandemic which the actors refer to it as the ‘COVID WEDDING’. Keeping the government guidelines in mind, the actors kept the wedding as private as possible, only five members were present. His sister, brother-in-law, and Sangeita’s brother were present while their parents joined the wedding via a video call.
Opening up more about the wedding, the actor revealed it was very difficult for them to find a place for the wedding until they got a Gurudwara where they could complete the marriage proceedings. The actor mentioned how his wedding was different from any other wedding, the actor told Hindustan Times, “Everything was done virtually, right from the sangeet, to mehendi. Even our dinners were over video calls!”
The Sasural Simar Ka actor added that he planned another date in his mind, but was is father, who pushed him into getting married. The actor joked how his father said that he didn’t trust his son to wait long, worried that he might end up saying no.
Following the Sindhi traditions, Manish had a sword in his one hand and sanitizer on the other hand. All the family members followed the covid-19 guidelines which was set by the government.
In the 40-years-old’s wedding they had put three screens, one was the main screen, second was for their friends and third one was for the family, he added.
Both Manish and Sangeita made the official announcement of their wedding on their respective Instagram handles in the most creative way possible. The then bride-to-be had written, “Its Finally Official ! WE ARE GETTING MARRIED !!! Swipe left…” revealing details about their first ever meeting.
