Anil Arora, the father of Bollywood diva Malaika Arora, has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. The actress was spotted visiting him in the hospital on Thursday, accompanied by her mother Joyce.
The reason for his hospitalisation is unknown. So far, neither Malaika nor her family have issued an official comment regarding Anil Arora’s health.
Malaika previously claimed in an interview that she was 11 years old when her parents, Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp, split.
Malaika and her younger sister, actress Amrita Arora, relocated to Chembur with their mother after their divorce and were raised by her.
She explained how her parents’ divorce helped her to see her mother in a different light and how that experience taught her the necessity of getting up every day and persevering no matter what in order to become independent.
Malaika herself had to spend a few days in the hospital in April of last year after being involved in a car accident on her way back from an event.
Malaika was involved in an automobile accident on the Mumbai-Pune highway on April 2, 2022, while returning from work in Pune. She was hospitalised for a day after suffering injuries to her forehead.
She had spoken about how the accident had shocked her to her core and how grateful she was to God for giving her a second chance at life.
