Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor have been dating since 2018, but recently there have been rumors that the couple have called it quits. While the rumors began a few weeks ago, it gained steam after Malaika remained absent from Arjun’s recent birthday celebration. While they are yet to address the status of their relationship, Malaika, in an recent interview, talked about her idea of true love.
In a conversation with Hello Magazine, the diva called herself romantic at heart, but at the same time, she also referred to herself as realistic. “I’ll never give up on the idea of true love, no matter what. I’m a typical Scorpio that way, so I’ll fight for love till the very end — but I’m also very realistic and know where to draw the line,” she added.
In the same conversation, Malaika opened up about fairytale endings and said that it took her some time to realise that it is quite different in real life. However, she still has some optimism for it.
She also termed “realisation” as one of the hardest lessons she has learnt in her life. “We’ve all been brought up reading stories that have fairytale endings and were led to believe that’s how life is… But that’s not what life is and it’s something you only realise later on.”
