On-going IIFA Awards is at the top for epic Indian cinema celebrations on Yas Island, Dubai. Several actors from Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema represented Indian cinema and entertained the international audience.
While speaking to the media delegates and others, Siddhant Chaturvedi made such an unusual statement that stunned everyone from co-stars to colleagues. In the same discussion where he shared his feelings for being a part of IIFA, Siddhant mentioned that “he’s an IIFA virgin.”
Siddhanth was only making his debut at IIFA this year and hence felt overwhelmed since it was all about sharing his feelings. The Gully Boy actor quoted, “Kisi ka third time hai, kisi ka fourth time hai . Yaar main virigin, IIFA virgin.” Siddhant’s comment left other members on stage shocked and they burst into laughter. Chaturvedi continued, “Mere first time hai, and I realised it is such an honor to be sharing the stage with Shahid [Kapoor], Abhishek [Banerjee], Vicky [Kaushal], Ananya [Panday] and Kriti [Sanon].”
The first day did end up putting the biggest stars of South Indian films and Bollywood cinemas together on one platform. This year, the stage will be taken over by Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar on the second day.
