Mahesh Babu’s per-film remuneration has been revealed; Turns out Bollywood really can’t afford the Tollywood ‘Prince’

Mahesh Babu is without a doubt one of Telugu cinema’s best actors, and his current film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, is the latest South Indian film that was released. The movie, however, had a mixed response from the crowd and critics. While many people enjoyed Mahesh Babu’s action-packed masala entertainer, others were disappointed.

Fans are particularly interested in Mahesh Babu’s compensation for the Parasuram-directed movie. He is one of the largest and most well-known actors in South cinema, and his prices will astound you. According to recent reports, Mahesh Babu charges between Rs 35 and Rs 50 crore for each film. Mahesh Babu is without a doubt one of the highest-paid performers in Telugu cinema. The actor nicknamed the Prince of Tollywood has been in a number of big-budget films and has had a number of hits over the years.

However, the reports about his per-film payment follow his previous statement about why he doesn’t do Hindi films. The actor said that Bollywood could not afford him, causing a controversy in the industry. While promoting his film, Major, he said,  “I did get a lot of offers in Hindi, but I don’t think they can afford me. I don’t want to waste my time working in an industry which can’t afford me. The stardom and the respect I get here [in South] is huge, so I never really thought of leaving my industry and going to some other industry. I have always thought of doing films here and becoming bigger. My dream is coming true now and I can’t be happier.”
