Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are currently on their toes as they are busy with final leg of promotions for their upcoming film Loveyapa. The movie shall both actors’ theatrical debut. Earlier, Junaid, Aamir Khan’s son, made his acting debut with Maharaj on Netflix, and on the same platform, Khushi, daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, made her acting debut with The Archies. As their film’s release date is approaching, Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle to give a special shoutout to the stars.
The filmmaker shared a poster of Loveyapa, and along with it wrote a lengthy note. He started off by calling for drum rolls for 2025’s first love story. Labelling the film as “hugely entertaining,” KJo said that the movie is for tech and app obsessed Gen Z. His note read, “You will fall in love with all the characters ( terrific ensemble ) and root for the magical and endearing leads Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. I can happily watch the film again and top credit to director Advait Chandan for bringing pace, relentless energy, humour, emotion and solid story telling to the fore!!!”
A special screening of the film was recently organized by the makers. It was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and they even posed with Aamir Khan for the paparazzi. Several other Bollywood stars such as Kajol, Karan, Jibraan Khan, Rekha, to name a few, attended the star-studded screening.
