Ajith Kumar, a Tamil icon, was the first actor from the film industry this year to vote in the Lok Sabha Election 2024.
The first phase of voting began on Friday, April 19, with Tamil Nadu being among the first states to vote.
In a viral video, Ajith is seen casting his vote at the Thiruvanmiyur election station. According to sources, the actor arrived at the voting booth about 6:40 a.m. and stayed until 7 a.m., when it opened.
Ajith, dressed in white, was seen voting and smiling for photos, displaying his tattooed finger. The actor set an excellent example for followers, plainly encouraged them to participate by voting.

Not only Ajith and Rijini, but actor Sivakarthikeyan and his wife, Aarthi, arrived at the polling booth to cast their votes.
On the other hand, Jailer star Thalaiva Rajinikanth was also seen casting his vote in the first phase of the Lok Sabha Elections.

Kamal Hassan was also spotted at the polling booth as he came to cast his vote and encourage every individual to cast their vote.

Dhanush was also spotted at the polling booth.
On Friday (April 16), Tamil Nadu began voting in the first of seven phases of the Lok Sabha election. The conclusion of the high-stakes contest between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) will be announced on June 4.
