Kartik Aaryan’s electrifying performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has earned the Best Actor Male award at the 25th edition of IIFA Awards, being held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The actor’s portrayal of the character, Rooh Baba, connected strongly with the audience, hence securing him the award.
Upon winning the award, Kartik seemed to get visibly emotional as his expressed gratitude to the film’s producer, director, and the entire cast and crew, for allowing him to bring the Rooh Baba back to life once again. The movie also starred Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit.
In another major victory, IIFA Award for Best Actor Female has been secured by Nitanshi Goel for her performance in Laapataa Ladies. The actor’s portrayal of naive yet determined young bring in Kira Rao’s directorial captivated the audiences and critics alike.
“This award is not just for me; it’s for every woman who dares to dream,” Nitanshi stated. “I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ a film that celebrates the strength and spirit of women.”
Backed by Aamir Khan Production, Laapataa Ladies was also selected as the official entry to the Oscars 2025. However, it failed to secure a nomination at the global stage.
