Kumar Sanu tests positive for COVID-19, plans of visiting his family to LA put on hold

Kumar Sanu was missing his family who is in LA and was supposed to visit them, however his plans are put on a pause for now.

Famous singer Kumar Sanu aka Kedarnath Bhattacharaya has tested positive for COVID -19. The singer’s team took in to social media to inform his fans about the same and also asked to pray for his recovery. The post read, “Unfortunately Sanuda has tested Corona positive, please pray for his good health. Thank you.”

According to a report by Bombay Times the singer was supposed to leave for Los Angeles on 14th October, to meet his family. Kumar Sanu in a chat with the publication mentioned that he worked consistently throughout the lockdown and missed his family. “I have been eagerly waiting to be with my wife Saloni, daughter Shannon and Annabel for a long time and now finally, I will be spending my birthday, 20th October, with them,” he had said.

Seems like he won’t be able to travel all the way to LA for now after being tested positive with coronavirus. As per a report of Times of India, as a mandatory precautionary measure, the BMC has sealed the floor he stays in. His wife, Saloni told the publication that if Kumar Sanu gets well he might visit them after 8th November and if not than the family would fly down to Mumbai to spend time with him.

Kumar Sanu had recently made into headlines after his son Jaan Kumar Sanu was ropped in for the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14. He had shared a video on his social media handles in support of his son and asking fans to shower him with lots of love and votes.
