Actress Kriti Sanon, who has been actively using her social media to post her thoughts, penned down a poem on women empowerment.
In her new Instagram post, she posted two pictures. The first was a bold, monochrome portrait of the actress and the second was a poem where she wrote about willpower and women’s strength.
Her poem read: “Her scars made her beautiful. Her cracks made her strong. She couldn’t be burnt or broken anymore. Cause she owned the fire. She’d become the storm. Kriti Sanon.”
Her caption emphasized her stance in empowerment: “Every time she’s fallen down, she’s gotten up stronger! That’s me. If you resonate with this too, swipe left. #BeMyPoetry #JustScribbling (sic).”

In her previous post, she discussed the unfortunate Harthras gang rape case with two more pictures. The first was a picture that re-narrated societal claims instilled upon women. She corrected journalistic writing from “She was raped” to “He raped her”; educational dialogue from “Protect your daughter” to “Educate your son”; the motherly request from “Ask your daughter to come home early, it’s not safe!” to “Ask your son to come home early!! It will be safe then!”
