Kriti Sanon leaves ‘stunned’ by her male friend thoughts: ‘marriage becomes a problem for actors’

Kriti Sanon chased her dream to become an actor and now she will be seen in five upcoming films.

The Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon recollected a discussion where her male friend says ‘the film actors have trouble getting married’.

The 31-year-old actor is looking ahead to a tight schedule as she has five releases in 20222. Recently, the actor has received a positive acknowledgement in her performance for the comedy-drama film Mimi.

Kriti also reveals her family and friends reaction to her decision of becoming an actor, She further added that in the beginning, her relatives were uneasy about her decision to pursue a career in acting but her parents supported her decision. Kriti has done engineering so her decision to pursue her passion for acting shocked her relatives, “They were like itni bright ladki hai, padhayi mein itni achi hai, kyun yeh sab chhodke jana (she is such a bright girl, good in academics, why leave give it all up)?” Kriti added.

Kriti‘s family was concerned about her not getting married as “nobody wants to marry an actor or a model.” “There were a lot of things like shaadi nahi hoti jaldi (marriage will get delayed). You hear all these things, you joke about it, you laugh it out.” the actor declared that getting married “was never on her list.”

“One of my male friends, who is still a friend, said that marriage becomes a problem, so I was just shocked that my generation also thinks this way. That was a little shocking and I was like why is everyone talking about marriage,” the Mimi actor added in the same conversation.

It was quite shocking for Kriti to hear this from her male friend as he pinpointed that marriage could be a problem if she chose to be in the film industry.

These statements didn’t stop Kriti to pursue her passion for acting, she did her debut in Heropanti co-starring with Tiger Shroff in 2014. Kriti will be seen next in Bachchan Pandey, Shehzada, Ganapath, Adipurush and Bhediya.
