Koffee With Karan season 8’s new episode’s promo is out. And this time around, the couch will be graced by mother-son duo Sharmila Tagore and Saif Ali Khan. The teaser clips seem a bit more interesting with the veteran actress revealing rare stories of Saif’s romantic flings during his college years. While the former has been to the show in many seasons, this will be the first time Sharmila Tagore will appear on the talk show.
The episode’s promo starts with Karan Johar asking Sharmila when was the time she last reprimanded Saif. While the actress was still contemplating the question, Saif said “quite a minute ago.”
Karan then asked Saif to answer one way that Kareena had rubbed off on him. Saif couldn’t quite get the question in the first go so Karan explained to him that it wasn’t a vulgar question at all.
What caught the most attention was when Karan asked Sharmila Tagore to share unknown stories of Saif from his college days. To that Sharmila recalled an incident that happened when he landed in Londer for further studies. Tagore stated that Saif didn’t go to the university and asked an air hostess out and they went someplace. Saif reacted to her statement by saying “Very exaggerated.”
To which Sharmila says that you can’t interrupt in between, it is my segment to talk. Then Karan asks him to main protocol. Saif then teases around by saying that the episode is being scheduled for discussing embarrassing stories about him.
On Monday, Karan Johar took to his Instagram account and shared the promo video of the upcoming episode. The filmmaker captioned the post, “A royal brew is on the menu for this week! Catch the mother-son duo, Sharmila Tagore & Saif Ali Khan on the latest episode of #KoffeeWithKaranS8.”
The upcoming episode starring Saif Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore will be released on the 28th of December on Disney+Hotstar.
