Koffee With Karan’ Season 7, has again made a headline with its eleventh episode promo where the evergreen man of B-Town Anil Kapoor could be seen sharing the couch with “Badrinath ki Dulhaniya” actor Varun Dhawan. The conversations turned interesting as Anil Kapoor and Varun Dhawan were sharing multiple insights encompassing marriage, relationships and, competition in the industry.
One of the statements of Varun Dhawan was marked as there he revealed why his competition is not restricted to actors alone. In fact that’s an actress. He said “The only person I feel evenly closely competitive with is Alia Bhatt”.
“As a society, we also need to start accepting that our female leads can also be bigger than heroes. With Alia Bhatt’s smashing big openings, as a male actor, I seek inspiration from that and aspire to do it too as a performer,” stated Varun Dhawan.
Answering the question asked by Karan, if he’d choose between Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone, Varun was found saying “I always get told that I look like a kid!”
Karan then asked “You think they look older than you?”
Varun then quickly defends “I am told I look younger…”
Karan was ready with “That means they look older than you.” Then, Varun concluded with, “You are saying (that).”
Later, both the guests were seen dancing together in a post which Anil Kapoor leaves a remark, “Dance karke thak gaya yaar!”
