Sonam Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor’s much-anticipated promo from Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee With Karan season 7 is finally out! This will be Sonam’s first on-screen appearance after she declared her pregnancy with her husband Anand Ahuja earlier this year. This is not the first time that Arjun and Sonam are taking off to be part of Karan Johar’s show. Earlier in Season 5, Sonam had been on the show along with pregnant Kareena Kapoor Khan and the Ishqzaade debutant made an appearance.
In the promo, pregnant Sonam is seen outfitted in a black dress for the show, while Arjun donned a tan jacket. Sonam has made a mark for herself on the show as one of the most controversial guests in the show’s history, with her statements making it to the headlines.
In this episode too, it appears that Sonam is back in her form. In the one-minute teaser, Sonam disclosed that her brothers have slept with all her friends and that among them, ‘there’s no one left’. To which, Arjun replies, “What kind of sister are you?”
Karan also inquired Arjun about how he has saved the contact of his girlfriend, Malaika Arora, on his phone. The actor replied that he love her name and hence it’s Malaika only. Further, in the show Sonam asks Arjun what’s the most annoying thing about herself, Arjun replies it’s her self-obsession. “She doesn’t wait for others to compliment her,” Arjun joked, to which Sonam quipped that it’s the part of being Anil Kapoor’s daughter.
Arjun even cries to say that it feels like he’s been called on the show only to be trolled by Sonam. Moreover, Sonam even made buzz by not knowing the name of Ranbir’s upcoming movie. She described it as ‘Ayan’s film’, and when host Karan asked her if she remembers what it is named, she fumbled, and named it “Shiva number 1.” Arjun face-palmed, and sighed, “You’re a mess, yaar Sonam.”
The new episode will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on August 11 at 12 am.
