Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra are all set to welcome their first ever child together. The couple made the heartwarming announcement on their Instagram and since the fans have been going ga-ga over it.
As the internet is celebrating the good news, let’s revisit a moment from the past when the actress expressed her desire to have both a baby girl and a baby boy. She had also humorously added that one of the reasons why she looks forward to pregnancy was the freedom to eat whatever she wanted.
During the promotions of her film Good Newwz, Kiara, along with Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke about getting pregnant, and the reason she gave was, “I only want to get pregnant so that I can eat whatever I want and let go.”
Upon being asked if she ever thought of having twins, she replied that she would want healthy children and mentioned wanting a baby boy and baby girl.
Sidharth and Kiara started dating after meeting on the sets of Shershaah, released in 2021. The couple tied the knot in February 2023. And nearly two years after their marriage, they are expecting their first ever child together. With an adorable post on Instagram, the couple wrote, “The greatest gift of our lives. Coming soon.”
