On 25 July, Falguni Shane Peacock presented her opening show to kick off the FDCI (Fashion Design Council Of India) India Couture Week (ICW). For the designer who showcased their most recent collection at the fashion extravaganza, Kiara Advani emerged as the star of the show. In a hot pink bralette and contemporary lehenga skirt combo, Kiara brought Desi Barbie enchantment to the runway as models wore gorgeous traditional clothing from Falguni Shane Peacock’s new range.
Pictures and videos of Kiara Advani ruling the runway in modern-desi costume were posted on the official Instagram sites of the FDCI and Falguni Shane Peacock. The clips show the actor making his way down the catwalk, displaying the hot pink attire to the crowd, and then taking the last stroll alongside Falguni and Shane Peacock.
An eye-catching bralette with wide shoulder straps, a plunging neckline emphasising her decolletage, an asymmetric cropped hem baring her midriff and embellished with beaded tassels, a bare back detail, and shimmering sequin and beaded embellishments are all part of Kiara Advani’s hot pink outfit.
Kiara chose to wear only holographic peep-toe high heels with the outfit, forgoing all other accessories. The finishing touches were blushed cheekbones, dazzling highlighter, blush pink lip colour, darkened brows, shimmering eye shadow, mascara on the lashes, and subtle contouring. The finishing touch was provided by side-parted, open, wavy hair that was lightly ruffled.
