The demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput brought out a hidden side of Bollywood. A drug angle which came out of the investigation, has now overtaken the main case. Many Bollywood celebs have come under the radar of Narcotics Control Bureau, including Sapna Pabbi, the co-star of Sushant Singh Rajput in the movie ‘Drive’. There were reports of her going back to United Kingdom in order to save herself. The actor now has taken to Instagram to dismiss the reports.
Sapna Pabbi, who was born in London, debuted in the industry with the movie ‘Khamoshiyan’. Her name allegedly came out during the questioning of Agisilaos Demetriades. He is the brother of former South African model and Arjun Rampal’s partner, Gabriella Demetriades.
A report in Mid-Day quoted an NCB officer saying, “The notice was pasted outside her residence on Tuesday asking her to appear before the NCB in connection with the Bollywood drug syndicate. She didn’t respond and now has disappeared. Her role in this case is very crucial and thorough investigation is required. If she doesn’t respond then strong summons will be issued soon.” The actor has now posted on her social media platform, reacting to the claims.
She wrote, “I am saddened to see speculative media reports in India about me being untraceable or missing. I have been back at home in London to be with my family and as such my lawyers have already communicated this with the authorities in India who are fully aware of my whereabouts.”
