On camera, actor Vijay Raghavendra is seen being tightly held by star Yash as he sobs during the funeral of his wife Spandana. The video has gone viral on social media.
In a video posted by a follower on the X social media platform, previously known as Twitter, Yash was seen attending the funeral and comforting his pal.
The ‘KGF’ actor was spotted chatting to and cuddling a very upset Vijay Raghavendra. The same video immediately gained popularity online. The fan said in the caption of the video, “He is always there for his people and for those who need him.. @TheNameIsYash Om shanthi.”

Spandana Raghavendra, the wife of Kannada actor-singer Vijay Raghavendra, passed away in Bangkok after suffering a cardiac arrest on Monday. She had gone to Bangkok for a holiday.
Vijay is a member of a cinema family and has a long history of working in the Kannada film business. He is the cousin of the late Kannada icon Puneeth Rajkumar, who died in October 2021 from a cardiac arrest.
Spandana, a native of Bangalore, was the honourably discharged Assistant Commissioner of Police B.K. Shivaram’s daughter. In 2007, she wed Vijay Raghavendra.
According to reports, Spandana complained of chest problems. She was then sent to the hospital, where she died on Monday. According to family members, she had low blood pressure.
Vijay and their son Shourya are left to care for Spandana.
Vijay, who made his acting debut in “Chalisuva Modagalu” as a young actor, was honoured with the 2016 Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor for the film “Shivayogi Sri Puttayyajja.” He served as a judge on the reality competition “Dance Karnataka Dance” and was the winner of the first season of “Bigg Boss Kannada.”
