Kaun Banega Crorepati season 12 has finally begun. India’s biggest trivia reality show is up amidst the ongoing pandemic. In the latest episode, a contestant from Mumbai, Swapnil Chauhan, talked about how the nation-wide lockdown affected his life as well as his business before the game began with him in the hot-seat. He opened up in front of the host, Mr Amitabh Bachchan, that he quit his six-figure job in order to set up his business.
He also spoke how his mother disowned him for taking this decision on his own and was also very disappointed in him. However, his wife supported his decision which gave him the confidence and he started his business in the year 2015. Talking more about his life was affected by the nation-wide lockdown, he told the host that due to the imposition of lockdown, his company was unable to work on the 28 projects they had, and also had to ask their 25 employees to either find a new job or go on infinite leaves or as a matter of fact, resign.
After sharing how badly his life was affected, Swapnil started answering the questions and surprised everyone, even Big B, as he won Rs 25,00,000. However, he decided not to attempt the question which would grant him Rs 50,00,000 and chose to quit. In the episode, Mr Amitabh Bachchan spoke to his family via a video call.
