And now, it seems that his mother, Mala Tiwari, who accompanied the actor to the IIFA Awards 2025, has seemingly confirmed their relationship. A clip from the award function is going viral, wherein she spill the beans over her expectation of future daughter-in-law. She noted that the family wishes to have a ‘very good doctor’ as Kartik’s wife.
The viral video rose the speculation if the actor’s mother is hinting towards Kartik and Sreeleela’s alleged relationship. This is because the actress is currently studying to become a doctor.
Kartik and Sreeleela’s dating rumors began surfing online after a video, featuring the Pushpa 2 actor attending one of Kartik’s family celebration. She was seen dancing with other guests during the house party.
The party was hosted by Kartik in honor of his sister, Krithika Tiwari’s recent achievement. The video showed Sreeleela dancing to her hit song, Kissik, while Kartik was recording it on his phone.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik and Sreeleela will be soon seen sharing screen space in Anurag Basu’s Ashiqui 2. The movie is slated to release on Diwali 2025.
