Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is getting ready to make her OTT debut with Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Jane Jaan’ recently revealed about receiving criticism for her interfaith marriage with Bollywood star and husband Saif Ali Khan. Kareena also addressed the trolls she had faced as a result of her 10-year age difference with her husband.
The 10-year age gap between Kareena and Saif became public after the former married Saif in 2012. In response to being criticised for her age difference with her husband, Karena stated in a recent interview that age has never been an issue for her. What matters to the Jab We Met actor is mutual respect, love, and happiness. She said, “He is hotter than ever. I am happy I am 10 years younger; he should be worried. No one would say he has turned 53.”
In response to the criticism thrown at her interfaith marriage, Kareena claimed that people nowadays spend so much time and energy debating interfaith relationships when it shouldn’t even be a matter of discussion. “The important thing is to have fun. The most important thing between Saif and me is that we like each other and enjoy our company. How should it matter what faith he follows or what his age is, that isn’t even a point of discussion,” she said.
On the work front, Kareena’s most recent film appearance was in the 2022 film Laal Singh Chaddha. She is currently preparing for the release of her OTT debut Jane Jan on Netflix which is all set to release on September 21. Kareena has also appeared in The Buckingham Murders and The Crew in her kitty.
