Kareena Kapoor Khan stands tall for the women-for-women concept. She propagates ‘women-being-each-other’s-support’ notion, much as it gets reflected from the strong bond she shares with her sister Karishma Kapoor, mom, and her girl friends. In a recent interview, the actress talked about her belief in and commitment to the idea of standing up and supporting female friendships. She also went on to say that female friendships mean more to her than even the support of her husband, Saif Ali Khan. She further said, “Women just connect on a level that’s hard to explain but incredibly impactful.”

Recently, in a chat with Harper’s Bazar, Bebo reflected on her life and shared how female friendships have acted like a sheet anchor. Kareena says, “Female friendships are everything to me. There’s something so unique about the support and understanding I get from my best friends or my sister. It hits differently than even the support from Saif.”

She further added, “My life has always been surrounded by strong women – my mother, my sister. We have always championed the ‘women supporting women’ mantra. Those moments when I can sit down with friends, chat, and share my life mean the world. I look at them and have them to really lift me up.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Bebo will be soon seen in The Buckingham Murders by Hansal Mehta.
