While many seem to be waiting to see Kareena Kapoor Khan in a Hollywood project, the actress has always spoken that she doesn’t feel the need for it since she is satisfied with her work assignment in Bollywood. In a recent interaction, The Buckingham Murders star spoke about overseas opportunities and mentioned, “I’ve achieved everything I set out to and I never had a burning ambition to break into Hollywood or act in English-language films.”
Jab We Met actress spoke with Harper’s Bazaar and expressed satisfaction with her life and career, stating she had accomplished everything she set out to achieve. She indicated that Khan is pleased when her projects are appreciated all around the world and once again mentioned that she never had a significant urge to go into Hollywood or perform in English-speaking films.
She elaborated, “My ambitions are about meaningful work and staying true to mysel. I am ambitious, but I am also grounded in what I have and where I am.”
The fashionista said she likes being appreciated for her work and not for the face. She added that she never pursued that particular part of her life, saying after all these years, the perspective has changed, and she is far more happy and comfortable in this space now.
Meanwhile, on the work front, apart from The Buckingham Murders, Bebo will also be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again.
